Cold-shrinkable cable accessories are components that use elastomer materials (commonly used silicone rubber and ethylene-propylene rubber) to be injection vulcanized in the factory, and then expanded and lined with plastic spiral supports to form various cable accessories.
During field installation, these pre-expanded parts are put on the end or joint of the treated cable, the plastic spiral strip (support) of the inner support is pulled out, and the cable accessories are formed by pressing on the cable insulation. Because it relies on elastic retraction force at room temperature, rather than heat shrinkable cable accessories that need to be heated and shrinked by fire, it is commonly known as cold shrinkable cable accessories. The early cold-shrinkable cable terminations only use silicone rubber cold-shrinkable parts for additional insulation, and the electric field treatment still adopts the stress cone type or the stress tape wrapping type.
Cold shrinkage stress control tubes are generally used, with voltage levels ranging from 10kv to 35kv. Cold-shrinkable cable joints, 1kv class adopts cold-shrinkable insulating tube for reinforced insulation, 10kv class adopts cold-shrinkable insulation parts with inner and outer semi-conductive shielding layers. Cold-shrinkable branch sleeves are used at the terminal forks of the three-core cable.

Made of imported silicone rubber material, it has excellent electrical properties, as well as excellent hydrophobicity, high elasticity, long service life and constant shrinkage pressure physical properties. No need for open flame and special tools, just gently pull out the plastic support strips, it can automatically shrink and reset, and the installation is very convenient.
