JXD series wedge-shaped parallel groove clamps are suitable for the non-load bearing connection or branch between overhead insulated aluminum stranded wires or steel-cored aluminum stranded wires in overhead distribution lines.

The wire clamp is composed of a wedge-shaped shell and a wedge block, and special installation tools (ejection gun or manual hydraulic pliers) are required to install the wire clamp and the wire. The wedge is pressed in axially from the casing, so that a constant clamping force is formed between the wedge, the casing and the wire, so as to ensure the good connection performance of the wire clamp.
